Happy Thanksgiving!

This was a quick craft I threw together this morning before heading out to Thanksgiving dinner... A turkey hat for Carter! I am really bad about making tutorials, I do not ever remember to take pictures! But I could always make another one of these just because it was super easy!

A Completed Quilt Kit

I finally did it! I finally finished the ABC quilt for Carter! I was able to borrow a great friendsAccuquilt GO! cutter and it is amazing! This thing is so super efficient I probably could have bound this quilt twice!

This was a great quilt for any quilting level, I believe a begginer could complete this quilt. It has great directions, the only step I was nervous with was cutting the fabric ( of course the first step!) Because I didnt want to run out of fabric, but (duh) I could always buy more!

This fabric is Bernartex "Baby Geniuses Grow Up" and there is a ton more fabrics in this line that are too cute for kids!

Carter's Book

As Carter got bigger, we noticed he loved all the pictures on the fridge. And after them falling off a million times I decided he needed his own book of pictures, but not just a regular book, but his own book, with people we love!

Each picture is a 4 x 6 with the names typed onto them in Photoshop, I then laminated two back to back ( so they were double sided), punched a whole in them and put them on a key ring, and thats it! Super simple, and it is a true hit! Every time I bring it out he loves looking at all the people, and I have gotten several compliments too! (Which doesnt hurt!)

As I am going through my computer, to make some room, I found some crafts that I had made for gifts...  Thought I would share!
