A Wedding Quilt

Last Fall, a dear friend was getting married and I thought her and her new hubby deserved something special. So I made them this...



Above the main block are the happy couples' names. 
Below is their wedding date.
Surrounding the "star" are embroidered hearts.

This was my first bed size quilt, I have made one other but it was a basic 12 x 12 inch checkerboard.
