Fail?

Since, working on all my hats I've been trying out new "accessories" to attach to them, and I have made the Irish Rose before and LOVED it. 

 But I wanted to try a new rose, and I am not sure if it is a fail or not... What do you think? 

I think it might be too big, its about the size of my fist, so for a kids hat or even a hat for me its a bit big.

    I like it. I think it looks great! I've seen much bigger so I wouldn't worry about it being to big.

    I've made very similar ones with a different pattern from Ravelry. If you want to give it a try, it was this one.
