All I wanted was whipped cream. But didn't want it from a can or tub,
I wanted HOMEMADE whipped cream.
So I picked up a carton of heavy cream, and got to whipping.
And to my surprise. I made BUTTER! Not whipped cream.
I thought I should have picked up heavy whipping cream. Not heavy cream. But I have been told that I just over beat it. I guess I will have to do it again and see what happens. Anyways, my butter came out sweet since I added a little bit of sugar thinking it was going to be whipped cream. Either way its tastes great on toast, not so much on ice cream!

You need to get yourself one of these (or find someone to buy one for you):

We received one as a wedding gift 4 1/2 years ago and I still swear to this day it is one of my favorite gifts and certainly the best one we didn't ask for. Fresh whipped cream is ready in about 2 minutes with NO MESS!!! You can flavor it too and it doesn't take up much room in the fridge.
