Grows: Starting Seedlings 2014

If you have been reading for a while, you know my favorite time of the year is Gardening Season!
I'm obsessed, I mean look at my pinterest board! Almost 1,000 pins!

Even thought I have been MIA here on the blog, I have been keeping up with my Garden Chores!

Here is a reminder on how I started my seeds last year!
This year I pretty much did the same thing as far as recycling containers, using potting mix and indoor greenhouses. Plus I also am trying to start some seeds in the coldframe.

So far in the garden (outside) I have cleaned up, the hubs has roto-tilled, planted some Peas, Kale and Collards and then today we woke up to snow! Eek! Good thing Kale and Collards are cold hardy and they hadn't sprouted up yet! Fingers crossed the survive!

As far as inside goes, I have started Tomatoes, Peppers (Sweet and Hot), Beets, Swiss Chard, Spinach and Lettuce.

I never realized, but my garden journal from last year has been a huge help. It's been so nice looking at it to see what worked and what didn't! Especially what thrived from seed, when and where I started the seed too. Also, it has kept me on track! I look at the entries for the week, and make sure I do what I did last year (if it worked).

Are you trying anything new this year in your garden?
I am really hoping for luck with my potatoes!
